B&B 'Antje en Gulle' is situated above the ground floor of our converted farmhouse. It has its own private access via an outdoor staircase and a private roof terrace overlooking the garden. Inside there is a roomy (650 sq ft) bedsitter and one smaller (250 sq ft) room, spacious enough for families or groups up to ten people. Both rooms can be rented separately as well. The adjacent landing leads to a second large area that contains a dining table, where breakfast is served as early or late as you wish, a kitchenette, and bathroom facilities (shower and toilet). A cot is available on request. On the ground floor, situated on the garden side, there are two more bedrooms with a second bathroom. They are the more quiet rooms. They can house 1 and max. 3 persons.

Location

Our converted farmhouse is located near the Damsterdiep, a canal just northeast of the city of Groningen. It is only about a mile away from the city centre, or a little over a mile from the railway station. The suburb is called Oosterhoogebrug. It used to be a separate village but is now one of the outer suburbs of the city. A pub, Chinese restaurant, snack bar and mall containing a florist, supermarket, off-licence and pharmacy are all just around the corner from the farmhouse.

How to get there: by public transport

Busses 78 and 140 to Delfzijl depart from Central Railway Station and stop in front of the B& B at Rijksweg 10A. Ask the driver for the Oostersluis bus stop.

How to get there: by car

Take the N46, the eastern ring road of Groningen, exit at Delfzijl/Oosterhoogebrug and turn left at the first set of traffic lights onto the N360, direction Centrum/Oosterhoogebrug. At the second set of lights go straight ahead, continuing along the Rijksweg. Just before the next traffic lights, at the Rijksweg and Pop Dijkemaweg intersection, you'll see a white farmhouse on your right, across the road from Café Westerhoff. You've reached us! Please feel free to drive in to our grounds. There's plenty of room to park your car.
